Franco Noero Gallery Expands with New Turin Space, Showcases Gabriel Kuri

Franco Noero Gallery has inaugurated a new 600-square-meter exhibition space in Turin, Italy, converted from a former factory by architect Flavio Albanese. The inaugural exhibition features work by artist Gabriel Kuri. The gallery, co-directed by Franco Noero and Pierpaolo Falone, maintains a roster of prominent artists including Mike Nelson, Simon Starling, Jason Dodge, Tom Burr, Lara Favaretto, and Francesco Vezzoli. This expansion occurs during a year when gallery artists have been featured in kunsthalle exhibitions and biennials internationally. A section of the gallery is dedicated to nonprofit activities and publishing ventures. The gallery's location in Turin, rather than Milan or Rome, reflects a confident stance within Italy's art scene. The new space features a large central skylight.
