Francesco Valtolina: Graphic Design Between Art, Publishing, and Fashion

Since 2008, Francesco Valtolina has served as the art director for Mousse magazine, operating from Milan as a creative director and graphic designer. He became a member of the Rio Grande collective in 2013 and, alongside Kevin Pedron, established the design studio Dallas in 2015. Dallas has worked with prestigious organizations such as the Venice Biennale and Phaidon and oversees art direction for Muse. In 2018, he co-founded the fashion label Cabinet Milano and teaches Editorial Design at ISIA Urbino. His recent endeavors include the graphic redesign of Mousse, art direction for ICA Milan, and the miart 2018 campaign. Additionally, Dallas developed the temporary bookshop Riviera in 2016 and designed the exhibition "Publishing as an Artistic Toolbox" in 2018.
