Francesco Urbano Ragazzi's Altérité Italienne and TUTTAUNANOTTE at e-flux

exhibition · 2026-04-26

In the fall of 2025, the curatorial team of Francesco Urbano Ragazzi hosted two events in New York, part of the inaugural Fellowship for curators from the American Academy in Rome and the Direzione Creatività Contemporanea del Ministero della Cultura. They organized the symposium LAAAAAND. Curating Another Nation at the School of Visual Arts, featuring speakers such as Jenny Lin, Claire Tancons, Dare Turner, and Anton Vidokle, with Nikki Columbus as the moderator. Additionally, at e-flux Screening Room, they showcased TUTTAUNANOTTE, a collection of 22 films that will be available for free streaming from December 28, 2025, to January 6, 2026. The Altérité Italienne project involved ten 'artist-aggregators' curating around 100 artists, drawing inspiration from Carla Lonzi's feminist critique and divided into four sections based on night phases.
