institutional · 2026-04-20

In September 2017, Francesco Manacorda will take on the role of artistic director at the V-A-C Foundation, departing from his current role at Tate Liverpool. The foundation, a private non-profit established by Russian entrepreneur Leonid Mikhelson and overseen by Teresa Iarocci Mavica, is set to grow with two significant venues. A renovated palazzo in Venice will debut on 13 May, while a headquarters designed by Renzo Piano is anticipated to open in Moscow in 2019.
