Francesco Bianconi of Baustelle on Sky Arte's Indie Jungle

Sky Arte's series Indie Jungle features Francesco Bianconi, frontman of the Italian indie band Baustelle, in an episode airing Saturday, January 8. Bianconi, a singer-songwriter and author for artists including Irene Grandi, Syria, Paola Turci, Noemi, Anna Oxa, and Gianna Nannini, has been Baustelle's main composer since their 2000 debut album Sussidiario illustrato della giovinezza. The band gained acclaim with albums like L'amore e la violenza – Vol. 2 (2018). In 2020, Bianconi launched his solo career with the album Forever, preceded by singles Il Bene and L'abisso. The episode will feature performances and a retrospective of his career.
