Francesca Thyssen Celebrates 20 Years of TBA21 with 'Futuros Abundantes' in Córdoba

Francesca Thyssen-Bornemisza marks two decades of her foundation TBA21 with the exhibition 'Futuros Abundantes / Abundant Futures' at C3A in Córdoba, Spain, running until March 2023. The show, curated by Daniela Zyman, features 40 works from the TBA21 collection, including early commissions by Ernesto Neto, Ai Weiwei, Olafur Eliasson, and Sarah Lucas. It emphasizes ethical, ecological, and social themes, with site-specific installations by Abraham Cruzvillegas, Regina de Miguel, and the collective Plata/Semillas. The exhibition also includes performances, a night event at the Alcázar Real gardens with music by Fernando Vacas, and a video by Mario García Torres. The three-year collaboration between TBA21, the City of Córdoba, and C3A aims to promote contemporary art in Andalusia.
