Fragonard's Erotic Works Explored in New Publications and Exhibition

The December 2015 issue of artpress (n°428, p. 74) features a review of the exhibition "Fragonard amoureux. Galant et libertin" at the Musée du Luxembourg-Sénat, organized by RMN-Grand Palais. The show focuses on the amorous and libertine themes in Jean-Honoré Fragonard's work. Two accompanying publications are highlighted: Guillaume Faroult's "Fragonard amoureux" (Gallimard/RMN-Grand Palais) and Philippe Sollers' "Les Surprises de Fragonard" (Gallimard, collection "L'art et l'écrivain"). The review is titled "Jean-Honoré Fragonard. La nature et les sens."
