Fragment Design x Bang & Olufsen: Four Products Get Monochrome Makeover
Hiroshi Fujiwara's Fragment Design has partnered with Bang & Olufsen to rework four audio products in a monochrome black aesthetic. The collaboration includes the Beosound A1 portable speaker, Beoplay H100 headphones, Beosound Shape modular speaker, and Beosystem 9000c CD system. Fujiwara, a long-time fan of the brand since owning a Beocenter 2300 in 1991, applied Fragment's signature dark style using an artisanal anodization and hand-polishing process on aluminium. The Beosystem 9000c comes with Beolab 28 loudspeakers and Beoremote One. A pop-up store at Isetan Department Store in Shinjuku, Tokyo, opens on 20 May 2026, with global release of three products on 3 June 2026; the Beosystem 9000c is Japan-exclusive. Pricing: Beoplay H100 £1,700, Beosound A1 £350, Beosound Shape £5,300, Beosystem 9000c from £53,000.
