Frab's Opens New Independent Magazine Store in Milan

Frab's, a leading Italian retailer of niche and collectible magazines, opens a new store in Milan on February 18 at Via Sirtori 11. Founded by journalist and IED lecturer Anna Frabotta, the shop offers 900 titles and aims to be a refuge for readers, students, and professionals in design, fashion, and creativity. The Milan location follows the original store in Forlì and a corner in Rome. Frab's also organizes the Mag to Mag festival, which will move to Milan in September. The store will host events and workshops, including a presentation of Artribune's Focus Moda on February 25 and a workshop with an artist using Vogue paper. An archive will open in spring, primarily for students. Frabotta notes that independent magazines are experiencing a revival, especially among young people, and that the clientele includes professionals seeking inspiration and collectors seeking variant covers.
