Frab's Magazines and More: Italian Platform for Indie Magazines

Anna Frabotta has launched Frab's Magazines and More, an Italian-language online store and virtual space dedicated to independent magazines. The platform aims to give visibility to high-quality indie publications covering photography, graphic design, fashion, philosophy, politics, lifestyle, literature, and food. Frab's also operates in the physical world through events, fairs, and presentations. A subscription service called Secret Mag Club sends subscribers a different independent magazine each month, selected from both the site's catalog and beyond. The project joins Edicola518, a similar initiative founded in 2016 in Perugia. Frabotta describes the venture as a form of resistance to cultural decay and a way to support quality publishing in Italy.
