Fourth Edition of Straperetana Opens July 18 in Pereto

The fourth edition of Straperetana, curated by Saverio Verini, kicks off on July 18 in Pereto, Italy. The exhibition, themed "Produttori di silenzio" or "Producers of Silence," features 21 artists inspired by Giorgio Manganelli. Focusing on talents from Abruzzo and organized in partnership with Matteo Fato, the displays will be set up throughout the village, including at Palazzo Maccafani, which is now the third venue for the Monitor gallery, alongside its locations in Rome and Lisbon. To comply with COVID-19 guidelines, the opening will be an open day from 11 AM to 8 PM. Featured artists include Lorenzo Aceto, Lucia Cantò, and more. Following this event, Monitor will host a solo show by Tomaso de Luca on September 26 at Palazzo Maccafani.
