Four Street Artists Create Works for Italian Film La Terra dell'Abbastanza
Four Italian street artists—Alice Pasquini, Cyop & Kaf, and Raptuz—have created artworks to promote the debut film La Terra dell'Abbastanza by twin directors Fabio and Damiano D'Innocenzo. The film, which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival, follows friends Mirko and Manolo (played by Andrea Carpenzano and Matteo Olivetti) in a harsh Roman suburb. Alice Pasquini's piece focuses on the protagonists and their friendship, questioning limits. Cyop & Kaf reflect on dangerous desires instilled by the periphery, linking chaos and consequences. Raptuz reinterprets three of his past murals from Milan's Hall of Fame on Via Pontano, using the Minotaur, Saint Michael, and a pigeon to symbolize ferocity, protection, and the true king of the periphery. The film has received four Nastri d'Argento nominations.
