Four Italian Photography Festivals Form Alliance
Four Italian photography festivals—Fotografia Europea (Reggio Emilia), PhotoLux (Lucca), Fotografia Etica (Lodi), and Cortona On The Move—have signed a three-year collaboration agreement starting in 2017. The initiative aims to increase effectiveness, engage broader audiences, and foster dialogue among the festivals through joint communication on social media. In 2018, a single ticket will grant access to all four events, spanning Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, and Tuscany. By 2019, the partners plan to launch common projects and create cross-sector interaction. The announcement follows the first States General of Photography promoted by MiBACT in Rome in April 2017. Notably, the Rome Festival of Photography was not included in the alliance.
