Four Italian Art and Food Dialogues: From AntropoCene to EuCarestia
A series of four initiatives across Bologna, Treviso, and Venice explore the intersection of art and gastronomy. In Bologna, Spazio Battirame hosts AntropoCene, the third edition of the Sette Tavole cycle, featuring eight chefs addressing the Anthropocene through dinners and a photographic collective from March to September 2025. Also in Bologna, the Future Food Institute presents EuCarestia, a show curated by {[(etica)estetica]anestetica} with street artist Isapamois, featuring NFT reproductions of Mediterranean diet foods under threat from biodiversity loss, running through February. In Treviso, Casa Robegan opens Note di pranzi on March 4, displaying 350 menus from a private Piedmontese collection spanning the mid-19th century to today, including artist-designed menus, with city-wide events until April 1. In Venice, Spiazzi association launches Kairospiazzi in March, a two-day participatory market involving Tocia Cucina e Comunità, following a special edition of Manos that expanded into food self-production.
