Four Artists Shortlisted for 2017 Marcel Duchamp Prize

The four finalists for the 2017 Marcel Duchamp Prize have been revealed by the Association for the International Diffusion of French Art (ADIAF): Maja Bajevic, Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige, Charlotte Moth, and Vittorio Santoro. This prestigious award is given each year to a French artist or one residing in France within the visual arts sector. In collaboration with the Centre Pompidou, an exhibition showcasing the shortlisted artists will take place in October, with the recipient of the prize receiving €35,000. The jury comprises Bernard Blistène, Gilles Fuchs, Carmen Gimenez, Erika Hoffmann, Mao Jihong, Jérôme Sans, and Akemi Shiraha. The announcement of the winner is set for 16 October 2017.
