exhibition · 2026-04-26

Artribune has curated a selection of four art itineraries in Valle d'Aosta for summer 2024, offering a mix of contemporary art and scenic locations. At Centro Saint-Bénin in Aosta, 'Sguardi di intesa. La moda fotografata dalle donne' is the first Italian institutional survey of fashion photography by women, featuring works by Alice Springs and Louise Dahl-Wolfe, running until September 22. The Museo Archeologico Regionale di Aosta presents 'ArteNumero. Gli artisti e il numero tra XX e XXI secolo,' curated by Angela Madesani, with over 70 works by Italian and international artists including On Kawara, Alighiero Boetti, and Carlo Valsecchi, exploring the use of numbers in art, open until October 20. Castello Gamba in Châtillon hosts the seventh edition of 'Détails,' focusing on sculptor Luciano Minguzzi (1911–2004), with his key work 'Uomini' from the 1972 Quadriennale di Roma as centerpiece; the exhibition runs until September 22 and includes works inside and outside the castle, with plans to permanently install 'Uomini' in the garden. Forte di Bard presents 'Arcane Fantasie,' a solo show on Marino Marini (1901–1980), curated by Sergio Risaliti, featuring 23 sculptures and 39 works on paper and canvas, exploring archaic, equestrian themes, on view until November 3.
