Fotografia Europea 2024: Nature and Climate in Focus at Reggio Emilia

From May to June, Reggio Emilia will host Fotografia Europea 2024, centered around the theme "La natura ama nascondersi" (Nature loves to hide). The festival will showcase more than 20 exhibitions across various locations, including Chiostri di San Pietro, Palazzo da Mosto, and Palazzo dei Musei. At Chiostri di San Pietro, visitors can explore ten exhibitions, such as "Sky Album," which features 150 years of cloud photography. Monographic displays will tackle climate change, showcasing artists like Helen Sear, Arko Datto, Natalya Saprunova, and Matteo De Mayda. Meanwhile, Palazzo da Mosto will exhibit Karim El Maktafi's work on sustainable living in the Emilia Apennines and Marta Bogdańska's "Shifters," focusing on animal espionage. Palazzo dei Musei will present Luigi Ghirri's night scenes and provide a space for visitors to leave messages for nature.
