FOTO/INDUSTRIA Biennial Explores 'HOME' Theme Across Bologna with Jeff Wall Solo Show

The seventh edition of FOTO/INDUSTRIA, the Photography Biennial of Industry and Work, will take place in Bologna from 7 November to 14 December 2025. Directed by Francesco Zanot and organized by Fondazione MAST, this year’s theme, HOME, delves into domestic spaces as arenas of memory and political struggle. Visitors can explore ten exhibitions at seven historic sites, including a solo show by Canadian photographer Jeff Wall at MAST Galleries, titled 'Living, Working, Surviving,' running until 8 March 2026. Notable works include Matei Bejenaru's 'Prut' series, Alejandro Cartagena's 'A Small Guide to Homeownership,' and Forensic Architecture's 'Looking for Palestine.' The biennial encourages public participation with free entry, focusing on themes of identity, labor, and belonging within home settings.
