Fosbury Architecture to Curate Italy Pavilion at 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale

The Italy Pavilion at the 18th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, themed "The Laboratory of the Future" and directed by Lesley Lokko, will be curated by Fosbury Architecture, as announced by the Italian Ministry of Culture. This event is scheduled to run from May 20 to November 26, 2023. Minister Dario Franceschini highlighted that the collective's youthful perspective resonates with the theme of sustainable living. Established in Milan in 2013, Fosbury Architecture comprises Giacomo Ardesio, Alessandro Bonizzoni, Nicola Campri, Veronica Caprino, and Claudia Mainardi. Their selection was based on their expertise, gender diversity, and commitment to societal issues. The pavilion will feature 1,200 square meters of indoor space and 900 square meters outdoors. Fosbury has been involved in numerous exhibitions and architecture biennials.
