festival-fair · 2026-05-01

Fort Biennale 2026, titled Reclaiming Collective, will run from June 14 to November 8, 2026, with an opening on June 13. Curated by Hannes Egger, Andrea Lerda, and Veronika Vascotto, the second edition is hosted within a major military architecture in the Alpine region. The biennale unfolds in four chapters—Think, Play, Dance, and Act—around the concept of togetherness, responding to contemporary crises such as conflicts, authoritarianism, climate emergency, and human rights issues. It features around twenty Italian and international artists, with a focus on the Euregio Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino creative scene, in dialogue with researchers from Eurac Research. A public events programme will be announced at the opening.
