Former X Factor Finalist Denies Murder of Influencer in London

Gabrielle Carrington, aged 29 and a former finalist on X Factor, entered a not guilty plea regarding the murder of social media influencer Klaudia Zakrzewska outside the Inca nightclub in Soho, London, at 04:30 BST on 19 April. It is alleged that Carrington, from Manchester, hit Zakrzewska with her vehicle following a confrontation. The murder charge was elevated after Zakrzewska succumbed to her injuries six days later. Additionally, Carrington denied inflicting grievous bodily harm on security guard Anoush Chyche. She was not required to enter a plea for a separate charge of driving under the influence. Appearing via video link from Bronzefield prison at the Old Bailey, Carrington had no legal representation. The trial is scheduled for 5 January. Zakrzewska boasted over 270,000 followers on Instagram.
