Former TOWIE reality star Jordan Wright found dead in Thailand drainage ditch

On March 14, Jordan Wright, a 33-year-old former reality TV star from the UK, was found dead in a drainage ditch in Thailand. The Essex Coroner's Service reported that his body was located in Bang Thao 2 Alley, within the Choeng Thale sub-district of Phuket's Thalang district. Wright, who had participated in ITV's The Only Way Is Essex in 2018 and MTV's Ex on the Beach in 2017, was pronounced dead at 12:30 local time, with his remains later returned to Essex. Senior coroner Lincoln Brookes postponed the inquest until September 14, extending condolences to Wright's loved ones. A post-mortem was conducted at Basildon Hospital on April 13, pending toxicology results. In the days before his passing, he posted videos on Instagram showcasing his scuba diving and motorbiking adventures in Phuket. Fellow reality stars, including Chloe Brockett and Liam "Gatsby" Blackwell, shared tributes online. A representative from TOWIE conveyed heartfelt sympathies, while the UK Foreign Office confirmed its support for Wright's family and engagement with local officials. Wright hailed from Stanford-le-Hope in Essex.
