This acquisition held personal significance for Masiello, who collaborated with the family of Jens Quistgaard to honor his legacy. Henriette, Quistgaard's daughter, has faith in Masiello's vision. Founded in 1954 by Ted and Martha Nierenberg alongside Quistgaard, Dansk is celebrated for its iconic Kobenstyle pots and teak-handled flatware. Masiello aims to revive Dansk’s original essence, set up a creative studio in Copenhagen, and introduce a direct-to-consumer platform.
