Forever Valentino: largest exhibition of the Roman maison opens in Doha

exhibition · 2026-04-27

The exhibition 'Forever Valentino' debuted on October 27, 2022, at M7 in Msheireb Downtown Doha, marking the largest showcase by Valentino S.p.A. and its inaugural event in the Arabian Peninsula. Curated by Massimiliano Gioni, Alexander Fury, and Pierpaolo Piccioli, it occupies two floors and features a non-linear presentation of over fifty years of fashion, beginning with 34 outfits in 'Valentino red.' The upper level displays a dress from the Fall/Winter 2013 collection alongside a miniature version of the Trinità dei Monti staircase, highlighting more than fifty designs from 1987 to 2022. Founded by Valentino Garavani in 1960, Valentino S.p.A. may relocate the exhibition to Rome after its conclusion on April 1, 2023, as indicated by Councillor Alessandro Onorato.
