Food as Ritual: Group Exhibition at Pragovka Gallery

On May 13, 2026, at 18:00, Pragovka Gallery in Prague will unveil 'Jídlo jako rituál' (Food as Ritual), a collective exhibition curated by Magdaléna Nešněrová. This showcase features the works of artists including Markéta Feltová, Michael Franče, Barbora Knobová, Yvona Kovářová, Lucie Vobr, and Michaela Munzarová. The exhibition delves into the multifaceted nature of food, examining its cultural, social, and personal significance beyond mere nourishment, while also touching on sensory enjoyment, everyday routines, personal rituals, and societal expectations. Additionally, the group Polévka na Baru, comprising friends from the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art in Plzeň, will engage the audience in a participatory event centered around soup preparation.
