Foo Fighters' Horror-Comedy Film 'Studio 666' Hits Theaters
The Foo Fighters have released a horror-comedy film titled 'Studio 666', directed by BJ McDonnell. The movie follows the band as they record a new album in a Los Angeles mansion with a macabre past, where they battle supernatural forces threatening their lives and the album's completion. The film features actors Whitney Cummings, Jeff Garlin, and Jenna Ortega. Dave Grohl described the project as 'absolutely crazy' and noted no other band would be foolish enough to attempt it. The film debuted in US theaters on February 25, 2022, exactly one year after the release of their tenth studio album 'Medicine at Midnight' (February 2021). In Italy, it will screen for one week only, from June 23 to 29, 2022.
