Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Celebrates 20 Years of Young Curators Residency Programme

On September 26, 2026, the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Guarene will mark the 20th anniversary of its Young Curators Residency Programme (YCRP) with the group exhibition "What about us" and an international study day. Curated by Michele Bertolino, the show features works by 23 Italian artists who participated in the programme since its inception in 2007. Over the years, YCRP has hosted nearly 60 international curators and presented over 200 Italian artists, building a global network. The exhibition explores themes of time, memory, and future construction. The study day, titled "What about us?", will address the role of Italian art internationally, support networks, and strategies to strengthen Italian artists abroad. Speakers include Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Anna Colin, Jeppe Ugelvig, Tom Eccles, Mark Rappolt, Adji Dieye, Lorenzo Balbi, Marilena Pirrelli, Eva Fabbris, Luigi Fassi, Tomaso De Luca, Pietro Vallone, Cristiano Seganfreddo, Andrea Villani, and Costantino D'Orazio. The day concludes with the exhibition opening at 5 PM, alongside a solo show by Alexis Puget curated by Leonardo Pietropaolo. A shuttle service from Turin is available.
