Fondazione Querini Stampalia Launches 'Adotta una rivista' to Support Its Periodicals Library

The Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice has launched 'Adotta una rivista' (Adopt a Magazine), a crowdfunding initiative to sustain its periodicals library (emeroteca). The campaign invites donors to support the acquisition and preservation of the approximately 200 Italian and international periodicals the library receives annually, covering art, architecture, politics, and society. The foundation, established in 1868 by Giovanni Querini Stampalia to promote good studies and useful disciplines, is one of Italy's oldest cultural foundations. The initiative aims to double the number of donors and ensure the continuity of the periodicals, which are essential for students, scholars, and readers. The campaign is hosted on the Rete del Dona platform.
