cultural-heritage · 2026-04-27

The Museo del Novecento in Milan is set to receive a generous €5 million donation from the Fondazione Pasquinelli, led by president Giuseppina Antognini. This contribution will help the museum expand into the second tower of the Arengario. Established in late 2011 to honor Francesco Pasquinelli (1922–2011), the foundation has been operating from a 700-square-meter venue at Corso Magenta 42 since 2013, focusing on art, music, and social initiatives. The collection, curated by Antonello Negri, features notable 20th-century artists like Picasso and Fontana. An upcoming exhibition, "Julio Paz. Storie fantastiche tra Argentina e Italia," will showcase the works of Argentine artist Julio Paz (1939–2010) from October 8 to November 19, 2021.
