Fondazione Le Stanze della Fotografia launches in Venice

On September 18, 2023, Marsilio Arte and Fondazione Giorgio Cini launched Fondazione Le Stanze della Fotografia, with backing from Fondazione di Venezia. This initiative will enhance the exhibition venue Le Stanze della Fotografia, which debuted in March 2023 on San Giorgio Maggiore island, aiming to serve as a hub for photography and attract younger audiences. The opening program features an open call for photographers under 30, with submissions due by February 29, 2024, inspired by a quote from Helmut Newton. Selected pieces will be showcased in the Helmut Newton. Legacy exhibition, set to open on March 27, 2024. Additionally, current exhibitions include Pino Settanni. I tarocchi and L'orizzonte degli eventi, with discounted entry for Venice residents from November 18-21, 2023.
