Fondazione Lac o Le Mon Unveils 2024 Program in San Cesario di Lecce

Founded in 2015 by the Lu Cafausu group, which includes Emilio Fantin, Luigi Negro, Giancarlo Norese, Cesare Pietroiusti, and Luigi Presicce, the Fondazione Lac o Le Mon will host its 2024 program at Casa Cafausica in San Cesario di Lecce from May 25 to October. Emphasizing community engagement for knowledge sharing, the program features the Simposio di Pittura, seminars by Emilio Fantin, and interdisciplinary sessions led by Ilaria Mancia, along with experiments from Ayreen Anastas and Rene Gabri. The Focolare Domestico project, supported by the Creative Living Lab award, has restored an antique kitchen. The initiative will kick off with a seminar dedicated to Carmelo Bene and wrap up with Posidonieto in mid-October. Long-term aspirations include establishing a research center focused on eating rituals. Additionally, Paola Pietronave received an Italian Council scholarship for a residency with the Ruangrupa/Gudskul collective.
