Fondazione ICA Milano Opens Three Fall 2022 Exhibitions

exhibition · 2026-04-27

Fondazione ICA Milano has launched three exhibitions for autumn 2022: two group shows and a solo presentation by Cypriot artist Polys Peslikas. The exhibitions are part of a growing private art hub in Milan's Porta Romana district, alongside Fondazione Prada and Viafarini.work. The first group show, 'Small Fixations,' curated by Chiara Nuzzi, features 23 small-scale paintings by five female artists born between the late 1970s and early 1990s from Italy, Japan, and the United States. The works are displayed without artist separation, encouraging viewers to explore connections between pieces by Chiara Enzo, Marta Naturale, Alexandra Noel, Yui Yaegashi, and Jennifer J. Lee. The second exhibition is a solo show by Polys Peslikas titled 'Reenactments (Bacchus),' curated by ICA director Alberto Salvadori. Peslikas's small blue-and-violet paintings explore gender, identity, and sexuality, drawing on Dionysian themes. The third exhibition, 'How far should we go?,' curated by Rossella Farinotti, presents works by eight artists focusing on landscape and habitat, including Lucia Cristiani, Linda Carrara, Silvia Mariotti, Giovanni Oberti, Alice Ronchi, Cleo Fariselli, Ettore Favini, and Irene Ferrara. The installations engage with the industrial past of the venue.
