Fondazione ICA Milano Fall 2025 Exhibitions: Hammond, Osborne, Costabile

Fondazione ICA in Milan presents three solo exhibitions for fall 2025, featuring British painters Lewis Hammond and Oliver Osborne alongside American sculptor Isabella Costabile. Hammond's 'Black Milk' at ground level explores dark, surrealist-infused emotions through distorted bodies and symbols like the hare, referencing Giotto, Caravaggio, and Goya. Osborne's 'The Sleeping Guard' on the first floor pays homage to Mantegna's Dead Christ and Filippino Lippi's fresco in the Brancacci Chapel, with interconnected paintings including portraits of his children. Costabile debuts five sculptures, four new, made from salvaged metal objects found in her family garage and streets, transforming discarded materials into poetic assemblages. The exhibitions run concurrently at the Milan space.
