Fondazione Giuseppe Iannaccone ETS Launches in Milan with Social Mission

Lawyer and collector Giuseppe Iannaccone has established the Fondazione Giuseppe Iannaccone ETS, a third-sector entity based in Milan, announced on November 23, 2023. The foundation aims to expand his cultural activities and address social issues, leveraging art's therapeutic power. It will focus on supporting vulnerable groups and promoting art as a tool for social well-being. The announcement coincided with the opening of Pietro Moretti's exhibition 'Il falò dei gonfiabili' at the foundation's headquarters, located at Studio Legale Giuseppe Iannaccone e Associati on San Babila. Iannaccone serves as President, with Alessia Iannaccone as Vice President, and a board including Caterina Fatta, Claudio Guenzani, Tommaso Iannaccone, Letizia Moratti, and Roberto Spada. Daniele Fenaroli is Director General and Artistic Director. The foundation's activities, starting in 2024, include exhibitions, conferences, visual and performing arts events, educational programs, research, and permanent public display of the Iannaccone collection. It will collaborate with universities, academies, and cultural centers. Iannaccone's collection, begun in the 1990s, focuses on Italian interwar art and increasingly contemporary works. The foundation seeks to overcome the individualism of collectors, as Iannaccone stated, by making art accessible and socially engaged.
