Fondazione CRT offers free fundraising course for 60 young graduates

other · 2026-05-05

Fondazione CRT has launched Talenti per il Fundraising, a call for applications open until February 12, 2018, targeting 60 young graduates from universities in Piedmont and Aosta Valley. Selected participants will attend a 140-hour training course fully funded by the foundation. The course covers crowdfunding, legacy giving, major donations, volunteer management, Big Data, virtual reality, and fundraising for museums, libraries, religious institutions, research bodies, schools, and universities. Applicants must be born after January 1, 1985, hold at least a bachelor's degree from Piedmont or Aosta Valley universities, reside in Italy, and be proficient in Italian and English. The initiative responds to a growing sector: in 2016, Italians donated €5 billion, an 11% increase from 2015, driven by tax incentives like the Art Bonus (used by 6,345 patrons for €200 million) and the School Bonus. Italy has about 2,000 professional fundraisers, average age 41, 65% women, with over half working in Lombardy and Lazio; Piedmont ranks fourth with 6.5%.
