Fondazione Cariverona Unveils Policulture Masterplan for Belluno Province

Fondazione Cariverona has developed a masterplan called Policulture for the province of Belluno, aiming to integrate cultural heritage with economic development. The plan, based on a study by PTS Consulting involving local interviews and data analysis, identifies opportunities across sectors such as environment, tourism, and sport. Over the next three years, interventions will focus on sustainability, networking, and innovation. President Alessandro Mazzucco stated that the masterplan is a tool to leverage strengths and address weaknesses, creating a virtuous cycle between cultural activities and the local economy. The foundation has already funded restorations in Belluno, including Palazzo Fulcis and Forte di Monte Ricco in Pieve di Cadore, and supported projects elsewhere like the Fontana dei Due Soli by Enzo Cucchi in Ancona. Mazzucco emphasized that the foundation's role is distinct from banking, operating through liberal grants and asset management for community benefit.
