Fondazione Carit Collection on View at Palazzo Montani Leoni in Terni

The Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Terni e Narni (Fondazione Carit) presents its art collection for the first time at Palazzo Montani Leoni in Terni, featuring 45 works from over 1,100 pieces spanning six centuries. Curated by Anna Ciccarelli, the exhibition runs until March 1, 2026. It includes Renaissance masters like Luca Signorelli, Baroque works by Artemisia Gentileschi and Mattia Preti, Impressionist paintings by Alfred Sisley and Camille Pissarro, and contemporary pieces by Alberto Burri and Agostino Bonalumi. A special section highlights Umbrian artists such as Orneore Metelli, Amerigo Bartoli, Ugo Castellani, and Aurelio De Felice. Recent acquisitions include the Guido Mirimao fund of over 900 works donated in 2015. The exhibition aims to return the collection to the community, showcasing the evolution of Italian and European art from the 14th century to today.
