Fondazione Cariplo funds 8 emblematic projects in Brescia province

Fondazione Cariplo has selected eight Emblematic Projects for the province of Brescia, allocating a total of €8 million (€5 million from Fondazione Cariplo and €3 million from Regione Lombardia) through its 2020 call, now in its final phase. Each project receives €1 million. The initiatives span cultural heritage, social services, environment, and research. Among the funded projects are the new campus of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Brescia; a biodiversity and sustainable food systems project by Università degli Studi di Brescia; the agricultural and social rehabilitation of Cascina Breda Rossini by Fondazione Casa di Dio Onlus; the Nuovo Museo del Risorgimento at Castello di Brescia, promoted by the Comune; restoration of the Santuario della Via Crucis in Cerveno by Parrocchia di San Martino Vescovo di Cerveno; the GENESARET community care project by Fondazione Laudato Si' in Desenzano del Garda; the C.P.E.E. center for developmental age by Fraternità Giovani Società cooperativa sociale ONLUS in Ospitaletto; and the Generare Comunità project by Fondazione Castello di Padernello in Borgo San Giacomo. Giovanni Fosti, President of Fondazione Cariplo, stated that these projects represent an opportunity for the territory to build a shared vision for the future, fostering value in art, culture, social services, environment, and research, with collaboration from Regione Lombardia.
