Fondazione Arte e Cooperazione Launches in Bologna During Art City

institutional · 2026-04-26

From February 5 to 8, 2026, the social cooperative Società Dolce, which started in Bologna back in 1988 by a group of university students, will introduce the Fondazione Arte e Cooperazione. This event aligns with the public opening of their new headquarters at Via Cristina da Pizzano 5, designed to be a hub for artists, social workers, citizens, and attendees of Art City for two days. On February 6 (10:00–20:00) and February 7 (10:00–22:00), guests can explore a free collective exhibition showcasing artists like Stefano Arienti and Giuseppe Stampone. Featured works include Stampone's 'L'Abecedario della Cooperazione' and Arienti's 'T-essere.' There will also be workshops led by Stampone, Réa, and Picco, plus a special discussion titled 'CO-ART: Art as a Collective Process.'
