institutional · 2026-04-27

Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro in Milan has announced its autumn-winter 2020 program, featuring exhibitions, project rooms, and guided tours. The season includes the opening of "(Sur)face" at Castello Campori in Soliera on October 17, curated by Lorenzo Respi, and the resumption of "Project Room" curated by Eva Fabbris, presenting Belgian artist Kasper Bosmans from November 3. Guided tours of Arnaldo Pomodoro's studio will focus on theater, and from October, the foundation will open two Sundays per month for workshops and visits. Long-term loans of works include "Cono tronco" to Santa Sofia, two works to Museo del '900 in Milan, and "Obelisco" at Castello Campori. Secretary General Carlotta Montebello expressed concerns about limited space for school groups but is developing technological solutions. Since reopening in June, the foundation hosted workshops and tours for about 300 participants, all fully booked. Montebello calls for political support for culture and education as vehicles for social and urban regeneration.
