Fondazione Alberto Peruzzo Launches Flicks Online Video Gallery

digital · 2026-05-04

Flicks, a new video gallery on the Fondazione Alberto Peruzzo website, has been introduced to showcase short video pieces by both Italian and international artists, with curation by Valentina Tanni. The inaugural piece, "Everyday is my birthday," comes from Japanese artist Kensuke Koike (born 1980 in Nagoya) and draws inspiration from Alice in Wonderland. Each video will be displayed for a duration of two months before being replaced, with the selection of the second artist currently underway. According to Marco Trevisan, the foundation's director, this initiative reflects the foundation's goal of reinterpreting history through contemporary art, alongside projects like the restoration of the 11th-century church of Sant'Agnese. Founded in 2015, the foundation has been operational since 2011.
