Fondation Montresso★: A Decade of Artist Residencies in Marrakech

Founded in 1981 and operational since 2009 with its Jardin Rouge residency in Marrakech, Fondation Montresso★ plays a crucial role in Morocco's contemporary art landscape. Director Estelle Guilié emphasizes its beginnings, the support from patron Jean-Louis Haguenauer, and its significant influence. The foundation nurtures emerging artists and has enhanced Marrakech's cultural scene through initiatives such as the Marrakech Biennale and various local venues.
