Fondation des artistes marks 50 years with expanded programming

Founded in 1976, the Fondation des artistes has become a key supporter of visual artists in France through an independent model based on its own resources. Operating from the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild and the Nogent-sur-Marne estate, the foundation offers production grants, residencies, exhibitions, and elderly care at the Maison nationale des artistes. It allocates nearly €500,000 annually to patronage and supports hundreds of projects. The anniversary program includes exhibitions, performances, and meetings, with a highlight on June 27 in Nogent-sur-Marne. Three initiatives structure the year: the revival of the audiovisual series L'Atelier A in artists' studios with Arte Studio, an exceptional production support endowment, and a large public celebration.
