institutional · 2026-04-27

In October 2025, Fondation Cartier will unveil a new 14,000-square-meter venue, Louvre Palais Royal, in Paris, crafted by architect Jean Nouvel. This site, situated in the historic Louvre des Antiquaires on Rue de Rivoli, will boast 6,000 square meters dedicated to exhibitions, alongside a permanent collection, artist studios, a cinema, a theater, and various performance areas. Until then, all programming for 2024 will take place at the Boulevard Raspail location. Highlights of the 2024 lineup include Bijoy Jain's 'Le Souffle de l’Architecte' starting April 21, 'The Centre for the Less Good Idea' by William Kentridge from May 13, Matthew Barney's 'Secondary' on June 8, and a retrospective of Olga de Amaral in the fall.
