Fondaco Debuts 'La Pelle' at Officina in Brussels
During Art Brussels, the Italian collective Fondaco launched its first exhibition, 'La Pelle', at the Officina association's venue in Ixelles. The show features small to medium-sized works priced under €10,000, with one sale already reported. Fondaco, a newly formed Tuscan collective comprising Claudio Macca, Serena Fineschi, Marina Dacci, and Egle Prati, aims to promote Italian art abroad and foster connections between artists and collectors. The exhibition occupies the home of Italian diplomat Annalisa Giannella, who founded Officina in 2013 to support young Italian art in Belgium. The venue previously hosted shows by Nico Vascellari and Lin Yan in 2014. 'La Pelle' includes works by established Italian names, emerging talents, and overlooked figures, with many pieces created specifically for the show.
