Fog Triennale Performing Arts: Milan Festival Blends Performance, Music, and Accessibility

The second edition of Fog Triennale Performing Arts, a three-month festival in Milan, concluded with a focus on accessibility and diverse programming. Under artistic director Umberto Angelini, the festival featured performances across multiple venues, including Teatro dell'Arte, DiD Studio, Teatro Franco Parenti, Zona K, Santeria Social Club, and Fondazione Giangiacomo Feltrinelli. Notable acts included Cristian Chironi driving spectators in a Fiat 127 while singing stories about Le Corbusier; Plaid, a London electronic duo, performing a concert; and Francesca Foscarini presenting a special version of 'Animale.' Other highlights were 'Kingdom' by Agrupación Señor Serrano, 'Uncanny Valley' by Rimini Protokoll featuring a robot, a day dedicated to Alessandro Sciarroni, 'Scavi' by Deflorian/Tagliarni, and 'Rip it up and start again' by Motus. The festival aimed to make contemporary dance, performance, and theater accessible to young audiences at affordable prices, blending high-level art with a relaxed atmosphere. Angelini will also curate the upcoming Teatro dell'Arte season starting in October.
