Florim's SensiColore Ceramics Inspired by Goethe's Italian Journey
Florim has launched SensiColore, a ceramic collection designed by Matteo Thun and Benedetto Fasciana, inspired by Goethe's diary 'Italian Journey'. The series translates Italy's natural landscapes into a contemporary architectural language through a palette of chalky whites, brick-rosé, ochre, greens, blues, and earthy browns. It follows the brand's previous collections Sensi and SensiTerre, continuing a sensory geography that blends raw nature with artisanal craftsmanship and technological alchemy. The porcelain stoneware uses a traditional long-kiln firing process to achieve a watercolor effect, ensuring chromatic consistency with dynamic light and shadow. The collection evokes memory and fleeting sensations, offering a tactile ode to Italy's diverse regions from Sicily to the Ligurian Sea.
