FLORA Festival Announces First Participants for 2026 Edition in Córdoba

FLORA, the international flower festival, has revealed the first two floral studios for its ninth edition: FLOVER from the United States and Taller Banegas from Spain. The event will take place in Córdoba from October 12 to 22, 2026. Organized by Zizai Cultura since 2017, FLORA promotes botanical culture and plants, featuring site-specific installations by international artists in iconic patios of the city. Alongside FLOVER and Taller Banegas, three other creators will compete for two awards: a first prize of 25,000 euros and a second prize of 10,000 euros. FLOVER is known for its influential and transgressive floral art, inspired by fashion, architecture, and nature, with projects that have captivated figures like Lady Gaga and Gigi Hadid, and participation in major initiatives such as the Met Gala. Taller Banegas, founded by Spanish artist Alejandro Fernández Banegas, is distinguished by a polished, fresh, and original language, exploring floral art through nature's plastic and symbolic interpretation, collaborating with fashion brands, decoration and architecture studios, and featured in Spain's leading interior design magazines. The festival has established itself as a reference in floral and botanical culture, attracting both professionals and nature and art enthusiasts.
