Flaviano Capriotti on Designing Luxury Hotels and Restaurants

Flaviano Capriotti, who previously collaborated with Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel on Bulgari hotel initiatives, now heads his own studio in Milan alongside Antonio Guido Cuscianna, specializing in architecture, interior, and product design. Notable works include the Andrea Aprea restaurant and Caffè-Bistrot at Fondazione Luigi Rovati, which showcases bucchero ceramic wall cladding and boasts a panoramic view of Porta Venezia park. He also revamped Pellico 3 Milano at Park Hyatt Milano, drawing inspiration from Executive Chef Guido Paternollo's Mediterranean dishes. At the Faloria Mountain Spa Resort in Cortina, he transformed rooms and a spa exceeding 1000 sqm. A graduate of Politecnico di Milano (1998) and a Compasso d'Oro laureate, he teaches at Tsinghua University and Domus Academy, emphasizing luxury as authenticity and experience.
