Flashback Fair Moves to Former Barracks for 2021 Edition

festival-fair · 2026-04-27

The ninth edition of Flashback, the fair dedicated to both ancient and contemporary art, will take place at the former Caserma Dogali from November 4 to 7, 2021, moving from its previous location at Pala Alpitour Isozaki in Turin. This new site will provide double the exhibition space, showcasing galleries, special projects, workshops, discussions, and food and beverages. Notable features include a solo exhibition of Enrico Bertelli, the De Serio brothers' video installation "Stanze," and conversations with Roberto Mastroianni, Stefania Dassi, Lisa Parola, and Christian Caliandro. Maria Chiara Guerra will conduct workshops centered on freedom. The theme, "The Free Zone" (Zona Franca), invites reflection on freedom in the post-pandemic era, with directors Ginevra Pucci and Stefania Poddighe highlighting an innovative approach that focuses on neglected spaces and narratives.
